sunrayspower- solar panel installer in Melbourne

After the solar panels are mounted and wired, our installers will do the final step of the installation process, which is to install the inverter.

The Inverter is unboxed and mounted onto the wall at the right location in accordance with the inverter manufacturer’s requirements as well as any relevant electrical Standard.

The DC Inputs from the solar panels are brought into the DC input MC4 connectors.

AC output from the inverter will then be connected to the house load. Depending on the inverter location, this could either be connected to the sub-switchboard or to the main switchboard.

We then install AC Isolator next to the Inverter (if the inverter is not close to the switchboard), and the Inverter AC line is connected to the house switchboard with AC Circuit Breaker.

Once full installation is accomplished during daylight, the inverter is turned on and setup according to the manufacturer’s guidelines, including country, distributor setups, date, time etc. and all the other important necessary setups.

All the necessary safety labels are attached onto the switchboard and inverter – including labelling the correct string Open Circuit Voltage.

Once all the above is completed, the inverter will be ready to use. However, it may remain switched off depending on your Electricity Distributor’s requirements.
